18th May 2002

Frankie Machine video shoot cracks off today. It rains, it shines, there is a military vehicle display at the main location...many side steps later the footage takes up residence in the camera. We adopt the unorthodox approach of stopping for dinner and even having time for a drink after. That's what comes of shooting a video comprised of only 10 shots.

Computer starts cracking its editing knuckles...

Kay has just finished a day supervising the edit for short film DEAD...FOR A BIT. This has been the culmination of an 8 week Foundations of Film Making course organised by Sandra Harrison of Revival Productions in Derby. The course members are nine 14-16 year olds who have now learnt everything from script writing to post production.

The film, now two thirds of the way through being edited is looking really good. If you are interested in checking it out, there will be a free public screening at 5pm on Thursday 29 March at the Metro Cinema in Derby. [Poster]

10th March 2001

We've found an amazing review of our first ever short film as acacia, "DUSTED", it was filmed in a day in Nottingham and according to Mr Travis T on the American website FILMSON.COM it's top bananas or rather in his words "English wit meets Euro action with a pair of Adidas on" - hey steady on now, man, don't over do it!

You can view Dusted on our painfully out of date (it's beyond my control) reelscreen page.
