OWEN TO JOIN RONNY? Michael Owen has apparently declared himself open to a Manchester United move, with the move looking all the more likely as Glazer looks to bring in a world Class player to try to win the fans over. Owen believes that whilst a move might be difficult for Liverpool supporters to take, the prospect of linking up with van Nistelrooy and Rooney is enough to tempt him over to Old Trafford. The extra attacker at the club would see Rooney playing as a winger, although this is unlikely to hamper Ronaldo’s appearances! In other transfer news, Luis Figo has been linked again away from Real Madrid, with this time Brazilian wonderkid Robinho taking his place. Figo must be desperate to get out if he’s seriously courting Newcastle United! Watch out for a late-minute move for Figo soon. One last piece is that former reds ‘favourite’ Diego Forlan wants to come back to the club at some point, having proven himself with a great season at Villareal.
