Personal Information
Marital status: Single
Nationality: British
Date of Birth: 26 April 1979
Place of Birth: Chichester, UK
Parents: Jane and Tom Taussik
Eyes: 2
Sex: When appropriate
Buttocks: Hairy
Distinguishing Features: Well. It's funny you should ask about that one, because I don't really have any. But, I do feel that my self is a fairly distinguishing feature. I'm a tall, heavy guy, much disposed to be in a good humour. I have a keen sense of smell, and this often leads to outbreaks of chuckling, giggling, sniggering, chortling, or sometimes even a wry smile. I am not to be taken lightly (as I am very heavy) and my words are oft designed for neither wit nor wisdom (though usually one or other comes into it). I have one remarkable quality, and that is to produce songs. Anywhere, any time, any subject. And often in conjunction with several others at the same time. (Let me point out, however, that I cannot 'sing'. I produce songs to fit my own harmonies, and to make fighting cats sound better).

Education
1997 - 2000  BA Psychology 2:2 at the University of Wales, Bangor.
              Tutor: Dr George Haughton

1995 - 1997 A levels taken at Havant College.

Way, way back in the past (1988 - 1991) I was at Bosmere School, Havant, and had four teachers - Mrs. Champion, Mr. Bowker, Mrs. James, and Mrs. King.
              Head Teacher: Headley Underwood

Prehistory:
1984 - 1988 was at Fairfield School, Havant, with Mrs. Moore, Mrs. Johnson, and Mrs. Perks. (Observant readers will obviously be interested in the fact that I spent two years in Mrs. Moore's class, thus making 4 years)

Prior to this, Portsmouth Polytechnic Playgroup educated me in the ways of 'pre-school'. (Use of sandywater optional).

Awards and Honours received

In September 1998, Dynamo Youth Theatre gave me a Certificate of Valued Membership, 1990 - 1998.  I achieved this through no fault of my own. Ta.

In April 1995 Warblington School entered the News quiz. We were Semi-finalists and received The News quiz certificate.

Between 1994 and '95 I was a Warblington School Sub-Prefect and then Prefect.

March 1995 saw the completion of my Trident Gold Certificate, a certificate of work experience (Nursing Assistant), community involvement (Museum Guide), and personal challenge (1 week French exchange).

Between 1993 and '94  I was promoted in Scouts to a Patrol Leader (but I never was an assistant patrol leader. The Plot thickens.)

I spent the summer of 1993 gaining an RYA Level 2 Certificate with Sail France.

c. 1990 I received a Blue Peter badge as a runner up for the Giants of Land and Sea Competition painting competition.

Before 1990 I gained several short distance swimming certificates. Thanks Barbara, I've never looked back.

Work experience

Counselling boys aged 7 to 12 for 10 weeks in co-ed Christian Summer Camp ( Camp Arrowhead ), Summer 1998 and 1999. This was two of the best summers I had.

Baby sitting occasionally (1995 - 1997)  for two boys (and what angels they were!?!?)

Gardening regularly (1992 - 1994)  in a small garden, for the greatest English Grandma I have. Aaaahhh.

Volunteer experience

It has to be said that I have done far too much voluntary work, and not enough real work, but it is so much fun!

I was a Care Assistant, (April 1998) assisting on a four day residential trip for Special Needs ‘New Avenues’ students, in the New Forest.

I was a Classroom Assistant  (1995 - 1997, a couple of weeks at a time) assisting with class and playground activities in classes of 3 - 10 year old children in a special needs school.  Go Futchers!

I was an athletic track event assistant at the Portsmouth Special Olympic Games  (June 1997) taking athletes with Learning Disabilities to races. Never have so few, seen so many look so happy, calm and courageous.

I was, for my sins,  Co-editor (with  Grimace ) of On The Line (1996/97), the Havant Sixth form college magazine. A toast to Mrs. Marshal and Fran.

This is not a carrotA hypercaust. Rems of.
I worked tirelessly (yeah, sure) as a 'Museum-guide-and-demonstrator-of-Roman-skills-and-activities' at Fishbourne Roman Palace on many weekends between 1994 and '96. The Ermine Street Guard are just great.
A school trip there, not mine.

My Trident Certificate Work Experience was as a Nursing Assistant in a long term Mentally Handicapped geriatric ward St James’ Hospital in October 1995. To the smell!

My first volutary work was at Havant Arts Centre as usher of a 130 seat theatre, for Winter concerts, between 1991 and '94 . So long, and thanks for all the cakes.
