Dentist on the Ward is a two day
course designed to help to smooth the process of taking up your first
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery resident Senior House Officer job. We have
been running the course in Lincoln for the past 15 years. The courses are held twice a year in Lincoln
at the end of January and July just before new SHOs or dental F2's take up their
positions.
The course is
designed for recently qualified Dental Surgeons taking up their first
posts in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and more experienced dentists who
are working in hospital for the first time. If you are already working
within the specialty in the UK the course will probably not have much to
offer you. The course is designed to help those taking up hospital
appointments not for preparation for MFDS or MJDF exams.
The programme consists
of lectures in the mornings and practicals and seminars in the
afternoons. It finishes with a multiple choice quiz where you can test
your own knowledge.
The next course
will be on Thursday & Friday January 28th & 29th 2010. We
are holding it at the Assembly rooms, Bailgate, Lincoln.
LN1 3AR.The cost of the course,
is £185.
