We were met at Byron Bay by our hosts who stayed 3 nights with us showing us around before they returned home.

We were invited to make a detour and stay with them at Goondiwindi on our way back so we visited them at their main home and received their kind hospitality for two nights before returning to Sydney to fly home 3 weeks after our arrival in Australia.

With John & Veronica outside their lovely traditional Queensland home.

We met several of John & Veronica's friends. Here we had a barbeque in the bush.

We visited a farm and saw the irrigation which allows a good crop of wheat, cotton and chick peas, all for export.
