Fools Gold

After 5 ½ years, we've decided to call it a day....... 

It wasn't an easy decision to stop playing cos we love doing it, but we are all involved with other things and cant give Fools Gold the commitment it needs. We don't want to be out there doing gigs half-heartedly, that's not fair on the people who pay to come and see us, they deserve more than that. It wouldn't feel right unless we put our usual 110% into it, so we decided it was best to stop now.

We've been incredibly lucky to play so many great venues across the UK (Glasgow Barrowland kinda sticks out......), and to meet so many great people in the process. And recently we were asked to play the Roses songs with Ian Brown - that's the ultimate compliment as far as we're concerned - so how could we possibly top that?

Quit while we're ahead!

Who knows, we may do a one-off show sometime in the future. Never say never - but no plans for now.
