Aphex rate's the Cornish Gorse:
That's right kids the wonderful Cornish based Gorse have the official thumbs up from the man Richard James AKA Aphex Twin - the fantastic new album "let the gorse be with you" out on V/Vm Test Records does indeed carry the official seal of approval from our head man and indeed - as Aphex say's "This music will make you mad’. The fund razing team here at H.Q. cannot help but wonder if listening to the Gorse has been one of those turning moment for Richard. I mean to realize that the Gorse are top. Maybe soon when Richard reaches the crossroads he may use the force and join the Gorse, for more genuine pastie throwing brilliance, check the Gorse - and we pray and we pray and we pray......

We managed to catch up with Richard James at a recent fundraising event in London, here is what Richard had to say about the helpaphextwin campaign:
"Im AMAZED Shocked AND so so SURPRISE, at the response the public has given me, and I had no idea you all wanted to buy my very own reprocessed fodder on the fantastic VVM label, the 3" CD's and this website have help me so much....since the fund raising started my spirits have lifted, its been brilliant working with VVM in Stockport, those boys have an ability to repack audio like nobody else, its not like working with WARP>>VVM are fast they have an attitude,, they just whip those releases out>>>I like that alot! Now im on the mend ive managed to rattle an album out, its been liberating, sorting through all that old rubbish I did years ago smashed out of my face on drukqs...the album is named after my problem (i think)! Anyway Im over the problem now, and I feel like a new man, im ready to take on Big daddy,,and rattle through some more boots'N ' skirt!" RDJ ... laughing all the way to his tank

According to reports the MEN July 2001 release went down a treat with all those brainwashed on IDM. We haven't had the official statement from WARP Records as yet but we do have a recording care of our VVM scanning and wire tapping technology which allows you to listen to Warp headman Steve Becket on the blower!! The conversation swings in detail and highlights the overwhelming amount of money the independent record label is about to bag, with this winning combination of MEN and DRUKQS, remember kids we have all the gossip so spread the word: stevie b.mpg
VVM EXCLUSIVE: VVM pranksters have intercepted the new DRUKQS
Keep it under raps but a pigeon tells us VVM are planning to release DRUKQS ..before its official warp release date 22 October 2001...the word on the street indicates VVM have the album and see no problem with releasing it before WARP. In an astonishing interview VVM discuss the album saying how poor it is and how the HYPE tripe must be PLUGGEd up ---a spokes person from VVM said the team plan to throw the release out in disguise, typical tactics employed will be a simple reverse effect on the album...this way VVM can have the release on sale sometime in september under another name - like tricky dicky and the ravers!
If this is true you you might just be able to get that album soon, and with a simple extraction on a P.C or Mac, and by employing the reverse effx using the application software also included on the CD,, you would have the album in it's correct running state _BRILLIANT!
