Vicar:
Rev. Phillip Gwynn
The
Vicar was ordained in 1989, after training at St.Michael’s
College, Llandaff. He served a curacy in the Parish of
Clydach-on-Tawe in the Swansea Valley. In 1993 he moved to the
Deanery of Swansea to take up the post as Vicar of St.Thomas and
Kilvey, on the eastside of the city. During this period he was
also Honorary Port Chaplain for the Mission to Seafarers in the
Port of Swansea. In July 2000 he was Inducted as Vicar of the
parish of Tycoch. Phillip is also the part time chaplain at
Swansea’s Singleton Hospital, a large general hospital on the
sea front at Swansea Bay. Phillip is married to Sian, they have
two sons, Simon and Andrew. Prior to ordination Phillip worked as
a professional photographer, for a period he was a Police
Photographer wit the South Wales Constabulary.
