I went to visit friends the weekend just gone only to find out those 80's music legends The Human League were playing at the river festival there! I had my digital camera with me and even bought new batteries, so thought it would have been great to get some snaps...wrong! Batteries ran out before Phil Oakey and the band could strut their stuff. One friend suggested murdering the entire company that made my camera, but that would involve getting too close to those who probably only care about profits rather than making quality items and I could very well end up turning into a breadhead just like them! EEP! So, sorry about that one, but there are some very good Human League websites out there so you'll have to quench your thirst there, AFTER you've looked here, of course! :o)
As for photographic advice, stick with film-using cameras. At least the batteries will only use power to flash if necessary and maybe wind the film on (depending on the age of your camera!). Digital tech, at the time of typing, uses WAY to much power, even with the best of batteries.
Finally, the time of The Gathering is getting closer, so look out for pictures at the end of August!
I'm off to be ill. Only I could catch a cold in the middle of a heatwave! Happy Creaturing!

In the way of additions we've got a link to my mates at Metal Red Star and a pictures they kindly donated for this mess of a site. Plus some photos so my gallery finally is no longer empty, and a few oddments here and there, but not much in the way of the rants page. Bet you're glad about that!
I'm getting ready for this years Gathering. For more info on this, go to my links page, click on the Hounds link and follow from there to The Lorien Trust's homepage. If you're into dressing up as a character from a sword and sorcery book or film and like to escape reality for a weekend, this is for you. I'v been called wierd for liking this, but then this came from a couple who sleep in his and her coffins!
Something that I've noticed is that folks, including those I pay to pretend to be my friends, have not signed my guestbook. It's so easy! All you have to do is learn to read and write and sign the guestbook! Bleh
Well, time for me to go and add stuff to this place. Roam around and have a good read and look-see. Remember, this site is best viewed with a can or glass of your fave tipple in one hand and your mouse in the other. Just watch out for badgers.

Anyways, the site is a little slow to pick up so I'm going to work on some more film reviews for you all. This would be a good time, especially with such potential goodies like Van Helsing and The Day After Tomorrow coming out! I'll also work on adding stuff to the site in general.
I honestly never knewit took so much effort to email someone with reasons why their site has to come down. Maybe if they notified me with reasons I could have changed the site? I AM reasonable after all! Ahh, well. Maybe manners have becme unfashionalbe. Anyways, if you're a new visitor, welcome. And to all visitors, please don't forget that you can contribute to this site too, so if you have anything to add, let me know!
Happy creaturing!

I wanted a site where I could tell the world a little about me, but mainly to air my views on various topics, and also place pictures of whatever I want, whether its a grue pic of some dolt thinking it's great idea making money selling copper so stealing some from an overhead power cable to a lady dressed in pvc. This site is still being worked on as you read this. Mainly the Thoughts on Life page. Plus this is a site that YOU can contribute to, and you are greatly encouraged to do so!
Within these pages, these are not beliefs or rules but merely my thoughts. It does you good to vent some steam once in a while, and because I've never truly had the chance to do so, you'll find a lot of vented steam here! :o)
Not much more to say, except I hope you all enjoy my site. grab a drink, sit back, and make yourselves at home...
