Range of my Experience The staple diet of Management Consultancy is considered by some to be Strategy work. I have undertaken Business Strategy, IS & IT Strategy, IT Migration strategies and studies. I have also undertaken Feasibility studies, research into Database Engines and Imaging systems and capabilities. Inevitably, I have also been involved in pre-sales and marketing exercises and have prepared a number of technical, complex and large tenders for government work and household name companies.	Management Consultant Employment As a Management Consultant with a technical ICT background I have undertaken many IT oriented assignments. I have spent approximately 7½ years with PE International, a major management consultancy and approximately 5½ years with Anite Systems in the Management Consultancy division. As well as the permanent employment I have worked freelance as a management consultant for approximately 7 years.
L a r g e s t J o b	Assisting Devonport Dockyard with their Materials Handling and Warehousing procedures to convert from MoD to the Private sector. Entailed much rationalisation of number of stores in the Dockyard, the value and quantity of stocks held and re-engineering the materials handling procedures. Pioneering client / server systems were built to streamline the new processes.

L o n g & V a r i e d Assignment	On an assignment lasting approximately 2½ years I was fortunate enough to be asked to undertake a wide variety of tasks for the same client:... Retail system Re-structuring ICT Department Computer room infrastructure update & refurbishment Introduction of EDI system over the GEIS network Definition and management of systems acceptance procedures for core software replacement system being developed by 3rd party supplier Evaluation, selection and implementation of a Nominal Ledger package Specification of Requirements, evaluation and selection of Office Automation package Project Audit of failing Payroll & Personnel system development by 3rd party supplier Expert witness for litigation case against failed 3rd party supplier
