Jodi Payne loves to read and write character driven stories about real women living real lives. She's written everything from contemporary to western and scifi, but in every story, the women have real needs, real desires, and real flaws.

Her lesbian novella, For Better or Worse, was recently named a finalist for a 2008 Eppie Award in the GLBT category. She is published in several lesbian anthologies, including Under this Cowgirl's Hat, Taste Test: Learning Curves and Locked & Loaded with Torquere Press, and Best Lesbian Love Stories: Summer Flings with Alyson Books. She also has several stand alone lesbian works published, including Come to Me and Better than Gelt. Jodi lives with her partner and their family just a short drive from New York.
